The old Ace Hardware store next to Burton’s grocery in Springville is no longer vacant. A new satellite campus of ClearBranch United Methodist Church is now open. This additional location of ClearBranch UMC is called ONEeighty. The purpose of this new campus is to point those who are looking for a new direction in their lives to Jesus Christ. ONEeighty is a place to turn lives around.
With the work of many volunteers and the support from the North Alabama Conference and the Central and Mountain Lakes Districts, what once was 32,000 square foot of merchandise space is now a full church. Renovations to the building include a worship center, classrooms, large children’s area, fellowship hall, serving kitchen, and offices.
Being located in a storefront, ONEeighty is designed so people will feel comfortable and not threatened by a traditional church atmosphere or a large congregation. Sunday morning services at 9:00 AM are casual- that means come as you are. A full band and multi-media support makes Sunday mornings at ONEeighty exciting and interesting.
Cam Price is the pastor of ONEeighty.
“There are people who want to turn their lives around, but think there’s no way. We believe God allows one-eighty turns so we wanted to provide a place that encourages people to make that turn. ONEeighty is a place where people can turn their lives around and meet Jesus Christ.”
It’s never too late to make a one-eighty!
